Donna L. Ritter, 60, of Allentown, died on Jan. 22, 2021.

She was married to Glenn D. Ritter for more than 37 years.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of Donald Richards of Macungie and the late Elizabeth (Zarowsky) Richards, who died last July.

A customer service representative at Verizon for 30 years, she eventually found her dream job in the library at Salisbury High School.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall.

She was an amazing baker, notably for her famous brownies.

She loved reading and knitting when her dog would allow it.

Known as “Donnie Shopper” she spent many days at KOP Mall and always loved a good cup of tea.

More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and dogs.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by a son, Matthew Ritter and fiancée, Paige Pearsall, of Bethlehem; sister Deborah Schuster and husband, Robert, of Mertztown; her dog, Paisley; and gran-dogger, Maple.
