William “Willy” F. Brown, 56, of Catasauqua, died Jan. 20, 2021.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Nancy “Strack” Brown.
He was a 1982 graduate of Catasauqua High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Penn State University.
He was the CEO/owner of Brown Drywall for more than 30 years. He was a drummer for several Lehigh Valley punk rock bands, most notably The Slamhounds.
He is survived by a daughter, Tyra Brown of Catasauqua; a son, Cole Brown of Catasauqua; three sisters, Wendy and her husband Jeff Zemba of Allentown, Flaxine Grube of Catasauqua and Nita Brown of Northampton; the mother of his children, Melissa Brown of Catasauqua; a sister-in-law, Nicole Gerhard of North Catasauqua; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph; and a niece, Rebecca Brown.
Family and friends may pay their respects 1:30-4 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Gas House Dance Hall, 307 Front St., Catasauqua. Please note due to COVID-19 guidelines, all guests must adhere to social distancing and masks are required.
