Mary B. Paukovits, 98, of Allentown, died Jan. 12, 2021, at Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Frank S. Paukovits.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Vogrincsis) Bertalan.

She was a 1940 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

She was a seamstress at several textile mills throughout the Lehigh Valley. She was employed as a utility operator at the former Western Electric/AT&T, Allentown, for 27 years before she retired.

She was a former member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Allentown, and more recently of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown.

She is survived by two sons, James and his wife Shirley of Coplay and Jerome of Allentown; a daughter, Marie Peart of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Bertalan of Allentown.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Stephen, Joseph and Frederick Bertalan; and two sisters, Theresa Roma and Margaret Gotthardt.

Services will be private.
