Marjorie Boyer, 97, of Fullerton, died Jan. 12, 2021, at home. She was the wife of the late John “Jack” B. Boyer for 67 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Knute and Estelle (Hoffman) Wallander.
She was a graduate of Allentown High School.
She was a computer programmer who was trained on the original IBM platform. She worked earlier in life at Lehigh Candy and Tobacco Company, Mack Trucks and the Department of Defense.
She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.
She is survived by two sons, Rick and his wife Barbara of Waynesboro and Tim and his wife Yvonne of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Kelly R. Slocum, Jason Boyer, Erin Horner, Sara Boyer Hughes and Samuel L. Boyer; and 10 great-grandchildren, Emily, Audrey, Aiden, Joey, Cael, Bryce, Skyler, Li, Cole and Jadyn.
She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Boyer; two sisters, Helen Laury and Violet Wallander; and a brother, Paul H. Wallander.
