Joseph Artinger

Joseph Artinger, 66, of Salisbury Township, died Jan. 21, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Sharon G. (Kopfer) Artinger, with whom he shared over 35 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Buskaritz) Artinger.

He worked as a maintenance planner for Air Products for 43 years, retiring in 2015.

He was a former member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, Fullerton as well as the Mercantile Club in Emmaus.

He enjoyed coaching football with his son and was cherished by all the coaches and players he came in contact with. He lived with high morals, loyalty and devotion to his family and friends. He was always quick with a joke and the life of the party. He was a family man and loved and adored his granddaughter, Cameron. His happiest days over the past two years were spent caring for his Cami and watching her grow from an infant to a toddler.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Nicholas J. (Danielle), of Hanover Township.; a daughter, Natalie R. (Derek), of Allentown and a granddaughter, Cameron; Lillian Wallitsch, Lorraine Fliszar, John and Matt. He was predeceased by Tom Buskaritz and Francis.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 27 at St. Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church, 156 E. Main St., Emmaus. Calling hour is 10 a.m. until time of the service in the church. Face masks will be required for entry and social distancing regulations will apply. Arrangements were made by the Cantelmi Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
