Irene E. Kemmerer, 92, of Whitehall, died Jan. 9, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Roderick D. Kemmerer.

Born in Rockdale, she was a daughter of the late Edwin F. and Elsie P. (Schneck) Mehrkam.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Allentown.

She is survived by three children, Barbara A. Balassaitis with Richard of Washington Township, N.J., Randall K. with Karen of Wilmington, N.C., and Susan B. Void of Whitehall; two sisters, Loretta M. Miller of Walnutport and Carol A. Peters of New Tripoli; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a sister, Helen E. Sowell.

Services will be private.
