Helen Rose Grieff, 89, former- ly of Whitehall, died Jan. 17, 2021, at Westminster Village, where she was a resident for many years. She was the wife of Joseph Grieff for 52 years.
She was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lebezeit) Gigler.
She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949.
She worked for Freeman Jewelers and, later in life, as an office administrator for Dr. Alexander’s medical practice, retiring in 1990.
She was a longtime parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown.
She volunteered at the Phoebe Home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Greg Grieff and his wife Karen and Peter Grieff and his girlfriend Rosemarie Kolodich; and three grandchildren, Jake, Trevor and Andrea of Ellicott City, Md.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Adolph, Frank, Bill and Joseph Gigler; and three sisters Emma Stopay, Anna Gigler and Margret Woodring.
Contributions may be made to the church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown, 18102, or to Allentown Central Catholic High School, development office, 301 N. Fourth St., Allentown, 18102, to benefit student scholarships.
