Frances M. Hetrick

Frances M. “Penny” Hetrick, 92, formerly of Zionsville, died Jan. 20, 2021, at Weston Care Center, Hellertown. She was the wife of the late Thomas R. Hetrick. Born in East Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Herman N. and Eva May (Kulp) Hetrick.

She was employed as a folder and table worker for over 20 years at Perkiomen Knitting Mill and Royal Manufacturing in Emmaus.

She was a member of Old Zionsville United Church of Christ.

She took great pride in keeping house, flower gardening, baking and entertaining guests.

She is survived by a son, Dale L. and his wife, Laura J., of Emmaus; grandchildren, Todd and his fiancée, Leslie, of Macungie and Tricia and her husband, John Ritter, of Emmaus; great-grandchildren Jaydin, Kendall, Dillon, Austin, Christopher, Haleigh, Addy, JR and Trent; sister, Alma, widow of Alan Carl, of Palm; step-grandchildren, Jessica and Morgan; stepgreat-grandchildren, Forrest and Olivia. She was predeceased by a son, Anthony T. “Tony” and sisters, Beatrice Kohler, Violet and her husband, Victor Haberle and Kathryn Miller; brothers, Norman, Homer and his wife, Virginia.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville. Viewing will be held noon to 1 p.m. Social distancing and masks will be required for entry.
