Donna L. Ritter, 60, of Allentown, died Jan. 22, 2021. She was married to Glenn D. Ritter for over 37 years. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of Donald Richards, of Macungie and the late Elizabeth (Zarowsky) Richards, who died July 2020.

She was a customer service representative at Verizon for 30 years, eventually finding her dream job in the library at Salisbury High School.

She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.

She was an amazing baker, notably her famous brownies. She loved reading and knitting when her dog would allow it. Known as “Donnie Shopper” she spent many days at KOP Mall and always loved a good cup of tea. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and dogs.

She is survived by her husband; father; a son, Matthew and his fiancé, Paige Pearsall, of Bethlehem; a sister, Deborah and her husband, Robert Schuster, of Mertztown, dog, Paisley and “gran-dogger,” Maple.

A visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. State guidelines will be followed limiting the number of people allowed inside the building. Facemasks will be required and social distancing will occur.
