Carrie L. Laible, 75, of Salisbury Township, died Jan. 19, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She and her husband, Ernest H. Laible Jr., would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 10. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Mildred (Batz) Warmkessel.
She worked in the cafeteria for the former Western Salisbury Elementary School, retiring as the head cook in 2007.
She was a former member of the Eastern Star Calypso Lodge in Bethlehem and was a member of the former Order of the Amaranth in Bath.
She enjoyed crocheting and making blankets but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Ernest H. III, of Center Valley, Michael D. and his wife, Carrie, of Emmaus, Raymond C. and his wife, Kimberly, of Bethlehem and Brian S. and his wife, Vanessa, of Allentown; siblings, MaryJane Keiser, Shirley Zeppos, Joyce Weaver, Douglas Warmkessel, Llewellyn Warmkessel and Wayne Warmkessel; grandchildren, Hailey, Miranda and Jocelyn; 13 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, George and Morris Angstadt.
