Lehigh County will hold the weekly 2021 Citizens Academy on Thursday nights February 4 through April 8 for all residents. The free, open to the public seminars will feature Lehigh County department heads and row officers. They will share information about their departments and agencies. Each virtual session will be via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m. in a webinar-style format.
The schedule is as follows: February 4: Frank Kane, Director of Community and Economic Development; February 11 Ed Hozza, Director of Administration; February 18: Kim F. Makoul, Esq., Lehigh County Chief Public Defender; March 4: Jason Cumello, Administrator and Director of Cedarbrook; March 11t: Kay Achenbach, Director of Human Services; March 18: Rick Molchany, Director of General Services; March 25: Timothy Reeves, Lehigh County Chief Financial Officer; April 1: Janine Donate, Director of Corrections; and April 8: Lehigh County Row Officers (Sheriff, Coroner, Controller TBA).
Lehigh County residents are encouraged to attend these webinars to learn more about the functions of their county government and what to expect in the coming year.
