Northampton: Mayor recognizes School Choice Week
Mayor Thomas Reenock has proclaimed Jan. 24-30 as Northampton School Choice Week in the borough.
School Choice Week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical and is celebrated across the country by millions of students, parents, educators, schools and organizations to raise awareness of the need for effective education options, according to the proclamation.
“Northampton is home to a variety of high-quality public and nonpublic schools from which parents can choose for their children, in addition to families who educate their children in their home,” he said.
