Lehigh Carbon Community College is offering Emergency Medical Technician training programs for individuals who are likely to respond to pre-hospital emergencies or those considering a medical career.
Upon successful completion, students 18 years or older will be eligible to test for the National Registry EMT credential.
Minimum age of 16 is required to enroll in the class.
An EMT basic class will be offered 6:30-10 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 2 through June 10, with several Saturday sessions, at the Emergency Medicine Institute, 2100 Mack Boulevard, Allentown.
Class fee does not include text or equipment.
Additional requirements include the submission of a physician release form and proof of medical insurance.
