Joseph L. Macaluso, 74, of Whitehall, died peacefully on Jan. 12, 2021.

He and his wife, Rosemary (O’Donnell) Macaluso, were married 50 years.

Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Anna S. (Cellucci) Macaluso.

He was a longtime educator at DeSales University and Kutztown Area School District.

He was a dedicated member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Maribeth Kuhn and husband, Barry, of Allentown, and Lisamarie Rubino and husband, Joseph, of Chalfont; granddaughters Ashley, Bayley and Gianna; brother Larry Macaluso; and brother-in-law Bruce Frassinelli. He was predeceased by his sister Marie Frassinelli.
