George W. Updegrove, 86, of Macungie, died Dec. 21, 2020, at Harbor View Rehabilitation and Care Center, Doylestown. He was the husband of his loving wife, Ellen Miller. They were married for 27 years. He was the son of the late Albert T. Sr. and Minnie (Yale) Wilson Updegrove, of West Catasauqua.

He retired from Eaton Corporation and Lehigh Valley Hospital and was a Korean War Army veteran.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife; stepchildren, Amy, Brenda and Scott; many nieces and nephews; grand and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings Alverta Woodring, Albert T. Jr., Aliddia Chudyk, Worthy and Gertrude Good.

There will be no services.
