Dale H. Christman, 82, of Allentown, died Jan. 15, 2021, in Luther Crest Health Care Center, South Whitehall.
He was the devoted husband of Mary (Bodnar) Christman and the late Elaine N. (Altrichter) Christman.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Nelson H. and Esther M. (Oswald) Christman.
A 1956 graduate of Whitehall High School, he was employed at Mack Trucks Inc. for 31 years before his first retirement in 1987.
For a second career, he worked in sales at Scott Chrysler Plymouth until retiring for good in 1998.
An active member of UCC Greenawalds for nearly 40 years, he served in various leadership roles throughout his time there.
He was a member of the M.O.R.A Club of Allentown and was named Man of the Year in 2011.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of American Legion Post 367, Fullerton, where he served as its sergeant-at-arms.
His gentle kindness and steadfast love were felt by all who knew him.
His survivors include sons, Scott H. and wife, Megan, of Baldwinsville N.Y., Andrew M., Littleton Colo.; brothers Robert of Allentown, David of Homewood Ill.; sister Barbara Roman of Macungie; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church, 2325 Albright Ave., Allentown, PA 18104.
