The Colonial Regional Police Department is now accepting applications for police officer candidates testing.

The minimum eligibility requirements to be tested are to be 21 years old by test date; and be a high school graduate or have a GED certificate; be a U.S. citizen and have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Completed applications must be received no later than 4 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2021. A $50 administrative fee is required with the application submission. The written test date is to be determined.

Applicants who are selected for further testing must pass a fitness exam, interview, polygraph, and background investigation.
