Theft from vehicle

A catalytic converter was removed from a work vehicle while it was parked in the 1800 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 13, 2020 and remains under investigation.

Four containers of Skoal smokeless tobacco and $1 were removed from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of South Glenwood Street overnight Dec. 14, 2020, according to Salisbury police.

An unknown person removed $120 cash from a vehicle, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported by a resident of the 1600 block of Lehigh Parkway North Dec. 23, 2020.

Incident

Salisbury police responded to the 700 block of Constitution Drive for a report of two males in the woods carrying long guns and pistols Dec. 14, 2020, according to Salisbury police. Allentown police also responded. Police checked the area and did not locate anyone or anything suspicious.

Assist

Officers assisted Salisbury firefighters and UGI crews at Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley senior living community, 1263 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., for a reported odor of natural gas Dec. 14, 2020, according to Salisbury police.

Possession

A 56-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged Dec. 15, 2020, with alleged possession of a controlled substance after an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Salisbury police.

A 58-year-old female, of Girardville, was charged Dec. 23, 2020, with alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Salisbury police.

DUI

A 58-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged Dec. 22, 2020 with suspicion of driving under the influence and related charges after a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police.

Criminal trespass

A 23-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged Dec. 20, 2020, with alleged criminal trespass following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Salisbury police.

Theft

Three political signs were removed from a location in the 900 block of Beth Lane, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 17, 2020.

A laptop valued at $1,000 and accessories were removed from a residence in the 1100 block of Maumee Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 15, 2020.

Shots fired

Salisbury police investigated a report of shots fired in the area of Lindberg Park, 2800 Lindberg Ave., Dec. 24, 2020. Officers found several empty shell casings in the parking lot. A witness said, from a distance, he saw an individual in or near a car who was shooting toward the park. The vehicle then slowly left the area. Salisbury officers checked the park. The incident remains under investigation, according to Salisbury police.

Police escort

Salisbury police provided an escort for someone who wanted to leave the Lehigh County Center for Recovery, Bethlehem, following a disturbance inside the facility Dec. 25, 2020, according to Salisbury police. The person was taken to Fountain Hill.

Disorderly conduct

Two 17-year-old males were charged with alleged disorderly conduct Dec. 19, 2020, following an incident in the 400 block of Yeker Farm Lane, according to Salisbury police.

Fraud

A resident of the 1700 block of Sycamore Road received two checks for COVID-19 relief benefits from someone in Ohio, according to Salisbury police. The checks totaled $900. Police referred the resident to an unemployment fraud hotline.

Scam

A unknown caller attempted to obtain a $400 credit card payment for a PPL Utilities account by phone, alleging the account was in arrears, Dec. 18, 2020, according to Salisbury police.

Retail theft

A Mack Trucks hood emblem, valued at $100, was removed from South Mall Mercantile, 3300 Lehigh St., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 22, 2020. Restitution has since been made.

Identity theft

Two phones were delivered to a vacant residence in the 2200 block of Bishop Road, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 19, 2020 and remains under investigation
