Marjorie Ann (Young) Wenhold, 79, of Macungie, died peacefully in her home Dec. 18, 2020, with her husband Robert of 61 years by her side. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Marge (Salem) and Clarence (Bud) Young.
She graduated from Pennridge High School.
She and her husband migrated to New Tripoli to experience living on a farm where she made many happy memories gardening, cooking, canning, sewing and entertaining family and friends.
Supporting her family was a big part of her life. She rarely missed an event her children or grandchildren were involved in.
She was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She taught Sunday school at Ebenezer Church in New Tripoli and supported her children’s school, Northwestern Lehigh, by volunteering for many events.
After raising her children, she went back to work and was a lab technician for 13 years at Kraft Foods, retiring in 1997.
In 2007 she and her husband moved to Hiram, Ga. Then in March 2020, she and her husband moved to Macungie.
She was an excellent seamstress and created many Halloween costumes, prom dresses, wedding dresses and other outfits for her family.
She is survived by her husband; children: Robin (Michael), Denise (Michael) and Christopher; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Alexandra (Michael), Hanna, Rebekah, Chad (Vanessa) and son Jayce, Jackie (Harry) and son Paxton, Marisa, Emilee and Ashlee; a brother, Fred (Willa), of California. She was predeceased by brothers, Jackie and Bruce.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2021 in her honor. Details will follow.
