John Anthony Mealing, 73, of Wescosville, died Jan. 2, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Allentown. He was the husband of Karen L. (Benner) Mealing, to whom he was married 11 years. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late William and Mildred Mary (Tiglio) Mealing.
He served his country with distinction in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was employed for 30 years by Lehigh Valley Dairy in Lansdale as a truck driver. Afterward, he would continue his passion and love for cars working at Outten Chevrolet for the past six years.
His love for his children and grandchildren never went unnoticed, creating everlasting memories. He could always be found with friends and family watching a Philadelphia Eagles or Phillies game.
He is survived by a son, John and his wife, Katie; a daughter, Tracey and her husband, Adam Grafton; grandchildren, Emily and Brooke Grafton, Ashley, Gabbie, Christian and Peyton; sisters, Mary and her husband, Robert Walton, JoAnn and her husband, Michael Stower and Louise; a stepdaughter, Wendy Cicon; step-granddaughter, Cloey Fishburn. He was predeceased by a sister, Mildred.
