There will be a professional development day for teachers Jan. 15; classes will not be in session.

Whitehall-Coplay School District will also be closed Jan. 18 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Zephyr Elementary School’s after-school program, which runs Jan. 25-April 15, will look and function differently this year. All sessions will be held using Zoom.

The instruction provided will be determined by that day’s assigned homework and the students’ understanding of the given assignment. There will be one-hour sessions 4-5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Gockley Elementary School students and staff will be dressing like snowmen to bring some winter fun into the building Jan. 19 (Cohort 1) and Jan. 22 (Cohort 2). Learning-at-home students will also celebrate this special event with their classmates.
