Northampton Area School District kindergarten and first-grade online registration begins Jan. 18. To register your child, visit nasdschools.org, click the 2021-22 Kindergarten Registration link on the left side and follow directions.

For admission to kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. For admission to first grade, your child must be 6 years old on or before Sept. 1.

Children currently enrolled in kindergarten in the school district need not register for first grade. When visiting the registration link, you will see all the health requirements and other important information.

The end of the second marking period for secondary students is coming up Jan. 21.

Lehigh Elementary School’s PTA group will meet 6:30 p.m. Feb. 1. It will be virtual.

Did you know students can get free meals every day? All students will enjoy lunch at no charge, until further notice.

NASD is doing the very best to keep your child safe and to keep you informed. Constantly check for updates and emails from your child’s school. Please be sure your child’s school has your correct phone numbers and emails.

Northampton Area Public Library is currently closed until further notice due to staff exposure to COVID-19.

Curbside service is also suspended

Book and media drops are also closed. Please hold on to your items for now. All items will be due back when the library reopens.

No fines will accrue at this time.

The library is still offering all the great databases they always have for research and recreation.

The library also offers virtual programming every month for children, teens and adults. Don’t miss out on the fun programs offered online.
