Ronald A. Moyer, 87, of Emmaus, died Jan. 1, 2021, in Phoebe Home. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Ralph A. and Alma (Rauch) Moyer.

He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He worked for Rodale Manufacturing/Square D for 27 years. While at Rodale, he was a member of Local 1197, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and served on the executive board and pension committee. He retired from Bracalente Manufacturing Company in 1988 after 12 years.

He was a life member of VFW Post 7088, American Legion Post 191 and the Mercantile Club of Emmaus. He was a life member of the Marine Corps Association, Marine Corps Heritage Foundation and the Emmaus Historical Society.

He is survived by daughters, Kim A. and her husband, Jay Morgenstern and Diann Y.; a brother, Arlin and his wife, Gloria; a sister, Marlee Seip; grandchildren, Jay Morgenstern Jr. and Megan Morgenstern. He was predeceased by a brother, Barry, husband of Jean and a sister, Gloria Weida.

Graveside services with military honors will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 7 in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
