Maryellen Golden Oroskey, 59, of Egypt, died Jan. 2, 2021, after a long illness. She was the wife of Joseph T. Oroskey for 33 years.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of Edward and Mary (McCloskey) Golden.
She was a 1979 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.
She was a teacher and activity aid for the Whitehall-Coplay School District and, most recently, was an administrative assistant for the school nurse.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Joseph Edward and his wife Keri of Whitehall and Patrick Thomas and his wife Ashley of Schnecksville; two grandchildren, Nolan and Kinsley Jo; three brothers, Thomas with Tara of New Tripoli, John of Royersford and Edward of Philadelphia; two nieces, Teal Hensel with Devon of Dillsburg and Tori Golden of Boca Raton, Fla.; and two nephews, Teagen Golden of New Tripoli and Stephen Scholl of Bethlehem.
There will be a viewing 9-10 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. service, Jan. 7 at the funeral home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Occupancy will be limited, and masks will be required by all guests.
Contributions may be made to the family to start a scholarship fund for Nolan and Kinsley Jo.
