Kathryn Alma Gulla, 88, of Jenkintown, formerly of Wyncote, died Dec. 24, 2020. She was the wife of the late John J. Gulla. Born in Pennsburg, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Clifford and Susan (Dries) Kershner.
Along with Barbara Loudenslager Keller, her dancing partner, she performed with Neil Kline’s original Variety Kids while attending Emmaus High School.
She obtained an RN from Gwynedd Mercy in 1978 and was employed at Einstein and Holy Redeemer hospitals, Foulkeways Nursing Home and eventually in Utilization Review, ending her career at Meadowbrook Pulmonary Associates.
She was a kind and generous person, forever giving of herself and left this world a better place.
She is survived by children, Dominic, of Jenkintown, Sara and her husband, Rob Sukol of Springfield, Va., Timothy, of Perkasie, Anthony (Linda), of Coopersburg, James (Edie), of Abington and Kathryn and her husband, John Purcell, of Collegeville; grandchildren, Amanda Bate, of Cheltenham, England, Nathan, Natalie, Kristine, Elizabeth and Theresa, Sean and David Sukol and Karen Uslin; great-grandchildren, Addie Bate, Aubrey and Claire; beloved aide, Tenesha Elliott.
She was predeceased by son Jon Anthony and Joseph Michael
