Jerome S. Miranda, 77, of Northampton, died Dec. 25, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of the late Theresa A. (Giglotti) Miranda.

Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Samuel and Christina (Dolinsky) Miranda.

He was in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a manager with General Electric for many years.

He was a retired college football official and was inducted into the Carbon County Sports Hall of Fame.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4050, Catholic War Vets and the Men of Malvern.

He is survived by three daughters, Kristine Sodl and her husband Christopher, Kara Stianche and her husband Michael and Monica Pangaio and her husband Antonio; six grandchildren, Michael and his wife Emma Jo Stianche, Mia Stianche, Matthew Stianche, Mikayla Miranda, Brenna Pangaio and Alexandra Pangaio; and a great-grandson, Ethan Stianche.

He was predeceased by a son, Jerome Jr.
