The year 2020 has come to an end - “finally,” many people would say.

For me, I am glad 2020 is over and hopeful this new year will lead us into the right direction, particularly because of two COVID-19 vaccines being approved and administered, with potentially more on the way.

May 2021 bring the United States and the rest of the world greater times, better health and more peace.

Now that the Christmas and New Year holidays are over, things will be more quiet.

But don’t forget about this Hokendauqua column! Even though there may be fewer functions, please continue to send in any announcements, events still being held virtually and plans for the future.
