Hilda A. Gower, of Fellowship Community, Whitehall, died Dec. 24, 2020. She was the wife of the late Clark E. Gower for 68 years.

Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie Snyder.

She worked for Household Finance early in her adult life, and for Whitehall-Coplay School District during the 1960s and 1970s.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by three children, Vaughn and his wife Robin Flemming of Bethlehem; Larry and his wife Connie of Schnecksville and Joanne Poelker and her husband John of Fort Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren, Valerie, Wendy, Christopher and Lauren; four great-grandchildren, Emily, Addison, Andrew and Liam; a sister, Annetta Geiger; a brother, Lee Snyder and his wife Ellie; nieces; nephews; and friends.

She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Butz; and a brother, Ray Snyder.

Services will be private.
