January is considered by many entities, including elected bodies, business and volunteer organizations, a reorganization month. This may be the first time reorganization meetings will be held predominantly virtually.
The Coplay Neighborhood Crime Watch, with only two officers - both indicating they plan to remain officers in 2021 - telephone reorganization meeting may be as lengthy as a slightly elongated sneeze.
A Coplay Community Days committee leader is tentative about a January meeting. He hopes for a possible February reorganization meeting to select the 2021 officers.
Coplay Cemetery Association’s board postponed its reorganization. The date will be announced at a later time.
Coplay Garden Club, which reportedly hasn’t met since February, is unsure if it will meet this month. The club members hope vaccines and safe public behavior can allow them to meet before the spring crocuses sprout.

The next few months are critical to mitigate the virus through vaccines and proper public behavior, so we can return to normal life later this year.
