Hilda A. Gower, of Fellowship Community, Whitehall Township, died December 24, 2020. She was the wife of the late Clark E. Gower for 68 years.

Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie Snyder.

She worked for Household Finance early in her adult life, and for Whitehall-Coplay School District during the 1960s and 1970s.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by three children, Vaughn and his wife Robin Flemming of Bethlehem, Larry and his wife Connie of Schnecksville and Joanne Poelker and her husband John of Fort Myers, Florida; four grandchildren, Valerie, Wendy, Christopher and Lauren; four great-grandchildren, Emily, Addison, Andrew and Liam; a sister, Annetta Geiger; a brother, Lee Snyder and his wife Ellie; nieces; nephews; and friends.

She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Butz; and a brother, Ray Snyder.

Services will be private.
