Simple assault
Luis Paredes, 19, of Allentown, was charged with alleged simple assault and harassment following a disturbance in the 1600 block of Gaskill Avenue Dec. 8, according to Salisbury police. Paredes was picked up and transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.
Terroristic threats
A male entered a residence in the 1000 block of East Susquehanna Street and pointed a handgun and threatened harm against two people Dec. 6, according to Salisbury police. The male eventually left the area in an older vehicle heading east on East Susquehanna Street. The incident remains under investigation.
Possession
A 21-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged with alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Broadway Dec. 12, according to Salisbury police.
A 32-year-old male, of Pine Grove, was charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Dec. 9, according to Salisbury police.
Criminal mischief
An unknown person cut three of four brake lines of a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 6 and remains under investigation.
Theft
Packages containing items valued at $336.32 were removed from a front porch at a residence in the 900 block of South 24th Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 6 and remains under investigation.
Three blow-up Christmas decorations, with a total value of $285, were removed from a location in the 1600 block of Seidersville Road, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 11 and remains under investigation.
Vandalism
A mailbox was damaged in the 3000 block of Meadowbrook Circle North, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 9 and damage is estimated at $25.
Assist
Salisbury police responded with Salisbury firefighters to a fire alarm in the 700 block of Weil Street Dec. 6. The alarm was caused by cigarette smoke inside a room, according to Salisbury police.
Scams
An employee of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, was scammed out of $1,000 from her bank account, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 9.
A person reported receiving more than a dozen scam phone calls regarding his iCloud account Dec. 9, according to Salisbury police. The resident was advised to contact Apple from an authorized phone number for the account and to contact his phone carrier to block the calls.
A person reported receiving a series of phone calls believed to be attempts to obtain gift cards Dec. 9. The callers identified themselves as agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to Salisbury police.
