Norman C. Kershner, 89, of Kempton, died peacefully Dec. 25, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Snyder) Kershner, who died in 2001.
Born in Greenwich Township, Berks County, he was a son to the late Harry J. and Jennie K. (Seip) Kershner.
A truck driver for various bulk haulers, he last worked for Clarence W. Dietrich Milk Hauling, Lenhartsville, for 40 years until retiring.
He was also a self-employed farmer in the Greenwich Township area.
He was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, the Kempton Rod and Gun Club, and the Kempton Fire Company.
His survivors include his daughter, Justine B., wife of Keith Danenhower, of Kempton, with whom he last resided; grandchildren Abigail K. and Benjamin N. Danenhower; and great-grandchildren Charles L. Stein and Ava R. Danenhower.
He was predeceased by his siblings Effie Wagner, Mabel Himmelberger, Verna Heffner, Esther Biehl, Anna Hemerly, and Stanley, Paul, Mildred, Elsie, and Richard Kershner.
There will be a private funeral service at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, New Tripoli, followed by private interment in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton. The Rev. David L. Long will officiate.
