Marie F. Markowitz, 93, of Allentown, died Dec. 9, 2020, at Whitehall Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late John Markowitz.

Born in Hokendauqua, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Florence (Lorah) Schirmacher.

She was a presser at Queen City Dress Factory, Allentown.

She is survived by a sister, Nancy and her husband Andy Krasulak of Allentown; a brother, William Schirmacher and his wife Marge of Hokendauqua; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by four siblings, Dora Pirog, Dorothy Bittner and Charles and Gerald Schirmacher.

Services will be private.
