True spirit! Donations of nonperishable food items are needed at Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli.
Items most sought after are cold and hot cereals, breakfast bars, pancake mix, syrup, soup mixes, noodles, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, beans, macaroni and cheese, tomato and spaghetti sauces, powdered milk, baby food, juices and formula.
Also needed are personal care products, such as tissues, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and deodorant, etc.
Each donation is appreciated and may be dropped off at the pantry 9-11 a.m. on the first Tuesday of every month and on the last Saturday of every month.
The next drop off dates are Dec. 26, and Jan. 5 and 30, 2021.
Please leave the items outside the pantry’s front door without entering.

Spread the word! Residents who are interested in purchasing reflective house or mailbox numbers from the Germansville Fire Company should call Jay Scheffler at 484-239-5020.
These big, red numbers are easy to read and help emergency crews find your home quickly.
A bracket to hang the numbers is also available for purchase.
As always, the fire company thanks you for your support.

Totally worth it! Heidelberg Union Church recycles ink cartridges to help offset the cost of its office supplies.
Each cartridge provides the church with a small credit.
Instead of tossing your old cartridges in the trash, take them to any Staples and tell them to credit Heidelberg Union Church.

Just a thought! I need a day between every day to recover from the day before and prepare for the day coming.
