Girl Scout Troop 6131, which includes sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders from Northwestern Lehigh and Springhouse middle schools, and Circle of Seasons charter school, organized a preholiday Sock Drive.
All socks were donated to the Blessings Shop at the Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry, and are available to families in the community.
Together, the girls collected nearly 500 pairs of new adult and children’s socks from family, friends, via an Amazon Wishlist, and by expanding the Sock Drive to the Northwestern Lehigh Middle School.
