Walter J. Schneck, 79, from Schnecksville died on Dec. 18, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife, Jacqueline D. (Walczak) Schneck, were married 55 years.
Born March 23, 1941, in Neffs, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Helen C. (Ruch) Schneck.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
He was a mechanic and electrician at Mack Trucks Inc., Macungie, for 30 years before retiring in 1998.
Since his formal retirement, he co-owned with his wife, Hot Shot Sports Equipment, Schnecksville.
He was a member of Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Richard S. Schneck of Lincoln, Neb.; daughters Becky C. Litke (Frank) of North Wales, Heidi J. Williams (Todd) of New Tripoli; brother Arthur R. Schneck (Susan) of Schnecksville; sister Melba M. Kuder of Neffs; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by siblings Ruth M. Phillips, and Clair R. and Harold R. Schneck.
