Sheckler Elementary School is seeking three daily substitute teachers, who are needed immediately. A valid Pennsylvania teaching certification is required.

The schedule will run 7:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The positions are for classrooms of kindergarten through grade 4 and teaching expressive art classes, such as music, art and gym.

Compensation is $130 per day.

Reminder: Sheckler Elementary will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holiday break until Jan. 1, 2021.

Students will return Jan. 4, 2021.

The contactless curbside meal service for Catasauqua Area School District has an adjusted schedule.

The updated schedule is 9:45-10:45 a.m. Dec. 29 and Jan. 7, 2021.

After the Jan. 7, 2021, meal, the distribution schedule changes back to 9:45-10:15 a.m. Thursdays only.

Distributions take place out front of Sheckler. On each date, there will be five days worth of meals given out.

Participants should arrive with a clean vehicle trunk.
