North Catasauqua: Thrift shop closed to public

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is now closed because the numbers of positive COVID-19 cases are going up. The decision to close was made for the welfare of the shop’s volunteers.

It will tentatively reopen March 2021. The owner apologizes for any inconvenience.

Public Library of Catasauqua is only offering curbside services, due to Pennsylvania Department of Health moving Lehigh County’s reported transmissions of COVID-19 into the substantial category.

Remember, the library has numerous databases available for use at home.

To reserve library materials, call the library at 610-264-4151.

For more information, visit catasauquapl.org or the library’s Facebook page.

The Catasauqua/North Catasauqua J4 Celebration and Catasauqua High School mega reunion planned for July 4 had originally been postponed until 2021.

However, since the status of the COVID-19 pandemic next year is unknown, the committee has decided to postpone until July 2, 2022. The rain date will be July 3, 2022.

There will be more information coming in the future.
