Laurie Sue Ross, 57, of Schnecksville died unexpectedly Dec. 17, 2020, at home.

Born April 20, 1963, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Donald E. Ross of Orefield and the late Doris M. (Nagle) Ross.

She was a nursing supervisor at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, for the last several years.

Before that, she worked in the same capacity at Luther Crest, South Whitehall Township, for more than 20 years.

She had a profound love of animals and, in particular, her dogs, Chex and Huckleberry, whom she enjoyed taking to work to aid the elderly and give comfort.

In addition to her father, she is survived by siblings Michael D. Ross (Mickey) and Debra A. Ross, all of Orefield, Sharon L. Maletsky (Mark) of Schnecksville, David S. Ross (Sandy) of Coopersburg, Jeffrey C. Ross (Wendy) of Bethlehem, Kevin J. Ross of Coplay; many nieces and nephews; and extended family.

Her service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.
