Jay W. Sacks, 89, of Topton, died Dec. 16, 2020, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown.

The loving husband of Joyce I. (Hartman) Sacks, the couple celebrated 67 years of marriage in March.

Born in Klinesville, he was the son of the late Ernest D. and Pearle (Miller) Sacks.

A Korean War Veteran, he served in the U.S. Army from 1950-52.

He was a carpenter for International Custom Built Homes, Chapmans, until retiring in 1995.

He was a member of Jacob’s Church, New Tripoli.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons Thomas L. (Sandy) Sacks of Schnecksville and Michael A. (Leanne) Sacks of Mertztown; daughters Joan A. Anderson of Centerville, Va., and Donna J. Braner of Gilbertsville; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son Dennis J. Sacks.

There will be a celebration of life memorial service in spring of 2021.
