We have officially had our first snow day and some little bit of normalcy for our kids during the school year.
My kids aren’t crazy about playing in the snow, but they enjoyed a day off from school (although they did have some work to get caught up on).
We are heading into the holidays and they’ll be here in no time. Are you finished shopping? Me? I’m a good procrastinator but I’m mostly done and just waiting to get everything wrapped. It’s gonna be another quiet little holiday but we’ll make the best of our time together.
Speaking of the holidays, please note all Salisbury Township School District schools will have “early dismissals” Dec. 23. Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School will break 12:15 p.m. and Salisbury Elementary School will break for the day 1 p.m. All schools will be closed for the winter break Dec. 24 through Jan. 1, 2021. School will resume Jan. 4, 2021.
There will be a special school board meeting held via Zoom 7 p.m. Jan. 6, 2021. Please make sure to register via the website at www.salisburysd.org.
Don’t forget our own Salisbury Township School District continues to provide free breakfast and lunches for any student under 18. Meals are typically available for pick up 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Monday and Wednesdays at SES and SMS. Should pickup dates change, please refer to email or text communications from your respective school.
Thank you to our food services staff who are helping to ensure our students have food to fill their stomachs even during this unprecedented learning situation.
I hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you again in 2021!
