Raymond Hlushak, 93, formerly of Hokendauqua, died Dec. 8, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Catherine M. (Schown) Hlushak.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Stephen and Anna (Kalite) Hlushak.

He was a graduate of Northampton High School.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II.

He was a sales associate for Mack Trucks for more than 30 years before he retired.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He is survived by three daughters, Terri and her husband Duane Schwoyer of Whitehall, Marianne and her husband Scott Hausman of Asheville, N.C., and Susan Weston and her partner Eric Gersbach of Whitehall; a son, Matthew Hlushak; and eight grandchildren, Christina, Amanda, Allison, Christian, Hailey, Paige, Harrison and Cahlia.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Nestor, Peter, Benjamin and Stephen.

Services will be private.
