Barry A. Lagler

Barry “Champ” A. Lagler, 73, of Fullerton, died Dec. 11, 2020, in his home. He was the husband of Suzanne (Toczek) Lagler for 53 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late August and Dorothy (Heckman) Lagler and the stepson of Elsie Lagler.

He was a 1965 graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School.

He was a stock chaser in 5C and on the assembly line for Mack Trucks, Macungie, until he retired in 2001 after more than 30 years.

He was a life member of Fullerton Fire Co. No. 1, the UAW and Coplay Saengerbund.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by twin daughters, Sherry and her husband Ronald Scott Miller and Tammy and her husband Mark Bauer; five grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler and Christopher Miller and Matthew and Nicholas Bauer; a great-grandson, Logan Scott Miller; a sister, Anna Marie Lagler; three brothers, Terry and his wife Anna, Tab and his wife Robin and Gary and his wife Michelle; two stepsisters, Eileen Bechtold and her husband Ronald and Joanne Knopf and her husband William; a sister-in-law, Helen Lagler; a stepbrother, Barry Trayes; nieces; nephews; and the extended Toczek family.

He was predeceased by brothers, Timothy, Randolph and infant Keith.
