Louis F. Schaffer, died Dec. 7, 2020, and his wife, Dorothy E. Schaffer, died one day later on Dec. 8, 2020.

Both were 84 years old and were formerly of Orefield.

They were married 66 years in February.

Both were born in Allentown. Louis was a son of the late Leon and Verna (Messinger) Schaffer.

Dorothy was one of 10 children of the late Lester and Lea Dreisbach.

They were members of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Orefield.

They are survived by a son Joel Schaffer of Orefield; daughters Cheryl Levan (Dennis) of Massachusetts and Lucille Hampton (Russ) of Florida; and three grandchildren.

They were predeceased by a son, Wayne L. Schaffer, and daughter Roxy.

Louis is survived by a brother, Kenneth Schaffer (Rosemarie) of Allentown and sister, Ruth Bierschank, of Colorado.

He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Schaffer.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
