Janet L. Duncan, 73, of Palmerton, died Dec. 5, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Johnstown, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Alice (Brode) Duncan. She was the former spouse of George Williams.
She was a 1965 graduate of Johnstown Senior HS. She graduated from the Lee Hospital Laboratory Technician program in Johnstown.
She was a laboratory technician at Lee Hospital, the former Northampton Medical Associates and Sacred Heart and St. Luke’s hospitals, Allentown campus.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Mechelle and spouse Charles Lewis of Homosassa, Fla. and Melissa Walters of Walnutport; a son, George and spouse, Jill Williams of Whitehall; seven grandchildren, Kyleigh, Grant, Zachary, Timothy, Nate, Maya and Lucas; two sisters, Roberta and spouse Carl Zipfel of LaGrange, Ohio; and Marjorie and spouse Raymond Gilmore of Johnstown; a brother, James and spouse Doris Duncan of Sidman; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Allen Intihar; a brother, John Duncan; a sister-in-law, Joni Duncan; and two nephews, David Intihar and Russell Duncan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
