Supervisors discuss Cherryville work

In an abbreviated session Nov. 24, the Lehigh Township Board of Supervisors reported trimmers were working in the Cherryville intersection to do high trimming and brush removal.

Relocation of the poles is scheduled for February, it was noted.

In other business, architects are working on an alternative design for the new maintenance building.

New business at the meeting included the adoption of three new resolutions.

Resolution 2020-14 involves restricting funds in the capital reserve building fund to the maintenance building project. Supervisors believe it meets all the requirements.

Resolution 2020-15 amends the 2020 budget.

Resolution 2020-16 establishes the tax collector’s salary, beginning 2022, with a $6,000 increase.

Township Manager Alice Rehrig advised the board there would be no money forthcoming for tropical storm damage.
