Richard S. Hinkle, 79, of Catasauqua, died Dec. 1, 2020, after battling various health issues for a long time. He was the husband of Kathy A. (Kratzer) Hinkle for 22 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Brecker) Hinkle and his stepmother, Ruth Kohler.

He was in the Marine Corps reserves during the Vietnam era.

He was a senior computer analyst for AT&T.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Michelle Mitchell, Eileen Gluth and Diane Stires; a best friend and live-in companion, Richard Seruga Jr.; three stepsons, Edmund W.C. Kratzer, Fred (JR.) Williams III and Travis Guy Kratzer Williams; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy and Patricia.

Services will be private.
