Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, is holding the annual Santa Run for township residents Dec. 19, beginning 9 a.m.

The deadline to sign up is Dec. 12.

No gifts can be accepted at the firehouse due to COVID-19 restrictions. The firehouse asks that gifts be placed outside the residence, in a hidden area to be retrieved by firehouse personnel just before Santa’s arrival.

Santa will be practicing social distancing and will not be entering any residences. Pictures can be taken outside.

There is a set donation cost per household.

Moore Township’s leaf collection will continue until the week of Dec. 21, depending on conditions.

There is no guarantee of a specific pickup day for any one location. Multiple trips through neighborhoods will take place periodically.

Visit the township website, mooretownship.org, for a list of leaf collection guidelines.

Residents are also welcome to bring leaves and brush to the recycling area Monday through Saturday during daylight hours. This area is located to the east side of the public works building behind the township building, 2491 Community Drive.
