Once again, Lehigh Valley Health Network contributed to the welfare of Lehigh Valley residents with two drive-thru influenza inoculations Nov. 7 at Dorney Park, South Whitehall Township, and Nov. 8 at Coca-Cola Park, Allentown.
Thousands of Lehigh Valley residents waited patiently for their opportunity to get their flu shot at Dorney Park.
Hundreds of LVHN employees and volunteers were on hand to guide, administer and follow up with flu shots in order to protect residents from the seasonal flu.
It was deemed important to be inoculated from the seasonal flu even though the news has been filled with COVID-19 updates and statistics. Without protection from the seasonal flu, a bout of this flu could make a person even more susceptible to COVID-19.
Spider-Man was on hand to help children weather the challenge of receiving a flu shot during Lehigh Valley Health Network's drive-thru event, held Nov. 7 in the parking lot of Dorney Park, South Whitehall Township. Helping Spider-Man is Terry Harrington, with Lehigh Valley Health Network Patience Experience. The event was also held Nov. 8 at Coca-Cola Park, Allentown.
