LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Lehigh Township: Police collecting for Toys for Tots

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 12, Lehigh Township Police Department will be doing a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots Lehigh Valley. The event will be set up in the parking lot of Lehigh Township Fire Department, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

This year, Toys for Tots has a shortage of toys, more so than ever before. With many businesses being closed and less people doing in-person shopping, many of the Toys for Tots drop-off sites have seen a dramatic decrease in donations. This is an opportunity for all of us to help our communities, especially those most in need.

The drop-off site will be a COVID-19 safe drive-thru style in the parking lot.

You are invited to Bethany Wesleyan Church’s Christmas candlelight services at Becky’s Drive-In, 4548 Lehigh Drive, Berlinsville. Services are 6 p.m. Dec. 20, 23 and 24.

There will be candles and communion at all services.

For more information, visit bethanywes.org or call 610-767-1239.
